I'm Dr Jonathan de Vries, a general practitioner with a focused pain practice. I perform ultrasound- and fluoroscopic-guided pain procedures within a multidisciplinary team — alongside Dr IJ Victor at Neurospine and the ASSIC Sports Medicine group — so your care draws on surgical, sports-medicine and pain-focused input from the start.
Rather than working in isolation, I manage pain patients as part of a coordinated team. That means imaging, surgical opinion and rehabilitation input are part of your plan when they're needed — not an afterthought, and not a referral that disappears into the void.
My practice sits at the intersection of general medicine, spine surgery and sports medicine. Patients who may need a surgical opinion, advanced imaging or structured rehabilitation are managed collaboratively, so decisions are made with the right expertise in the room.
I'm a qualified medical doctor (MBChB) with theatre experience in image-guided pain procedures, currently completing fellowship training toward FIPP accreditation.

I work closely alongside Dr Ian Victor's neurosurgical team at Neurospine, sharing an interdisciplinary approach to spinal and pain conditions.
